Cozy Bear in Townsend

Overview

Thank you for taking a look at the Cozy Bear cabin located in Townsend, TN on the “Peaceful Side” of the Smoky Mountains.

Our home is in the gated community of Laurel Valley - the must place to stay if you are a nature enthusiast or golfer; our community provides our guests with both!

The Cozy Bear has master suites on both floors. The downstairs area has a pool table and air hockey table, two sofas, one being a sleeper sofa. The downstairs master has two queen beds and a large bathroom with a shower, sauna and jacuzzi tub.

Entry onto the front porch only requires one step up. The entry level opens up into a large open living area and kitchen with hickory hardwood flooring, vaulted ceiling and 10” tongue and groove pine on the walls and ceilings.

A huge handmade rock fireplace awaits in the living area where you can start your cozy fire with gas logs for your use during the cool fall and winter evenings.

The bedroom on the entry level has a rustic wood king bed, a large closet and washer and dryer before you enter the master bath with porcelain tile and tongue and groove walls. The double vanity is a beautiful piece of furniture that adds to the upscale feel of the Cozy Bear cabin.

The kitchen island has an electric stove top with an electric grill along with a traditional oven. There is also a dishwasher and microwave oven.

So our cabin is not on Little River so you and your family or friends will not be able to hear the babbling waters of the river or a creek - no worries. The Cozy Bear has a rock hillside fountain that runs beside the entry level and downstairs level decks. But watch out for bears - bears do occasionally drink from the fountain so keep your bear spray with you when outside!

Speaking of decks, there are two large screen decks on the back of the cabin. On the entry level deck is a large propane grill and charcoal smoker with a table and chairs along with some additional seating. On the downstairs deck you will find “Rocking Chair Row” Eight rocking chairs await our guest to rock and listen to the babbling of the fountain!

Lastly this is our home, we are pleased to share it with but want our guests to leave it in the condition they found it! Thanks again for considering the Cozy Bear cabin!
